Tom Dumaresq

Senior Advisor, Subject Matter Expert

Tom brings extensive executive experience with federal financial budgets, procurement, and grant management as well as senior administrative operations to Galvan as a Senior Advisor. He also has expertise assisting small businesses with a variety of issues including financial management.

Mr. Dumaresq is a former federal agency Chief Financial Officer along with serving as a Chief Procurement Officer. He has over 32 years of experience as a career Federal employee including 26 years as a manager and 15 years in the Senior Executive Service.

At the U.S. Small Business Administration, Tom was directly responsible for managing several large federal programs including the loan portfolio valued at $75 billion. He is thoroughly familiar with federal operations related to financial management, procurement, grants management, and administrative operations. He has experience working closely with the CIO to align IT investments with the agency performance plan and prioritize the portfolio of IT investments. Mr. Dumaresq received the Presidential Meritorious Rank Award in 2001 and the Presidential Distinguished Award in 2005 for career achievement.
