Doug Austin has led million-dollar contracts in areas of procurement support and asset tracking with sustained mission delivery achieving multiple, consistent high-performance ratings and repeat business. He is a Galvan expert on compliance, both for company clients and internally.
Doug leads Galvan’s projects at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). For over six years, he was the lead on FEMA’s Asset Tracking Management contract. His achievements earned Doug highest ratings in “Project Management” and “Cost Containment” based on contract performance and price.
His government service included Deputy Assistant Administrator for Policy and Strategic Planning at SBA. A senior policy advisor to the SBA Administrator, Mr. Austin had direct reporting authority as eventual head of the Policy office and a member of SBA’s Management Board.
